Vanessa Urquizo is a rising Senior at University of Kentucky and is a double major in Management and Marketing. She is currently a Teacher Assistant for upper-level Management classes and a Marketing Associate of the Genau Group of Realty. She is Vice-President of Community Service in the Omicron Zeta chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma. She also contributes in the Latinx community as she mentors high school students and has served is various leadership roles in the Latino Student Union. She also served for a year and a half as a full-time missionary in the Dominican Republic.She plans to pursue a PhD in Business Administration and become an educator, but her ultimate goal is to become an inspiration to other Latinx students pursuing Higher-Education.

Horatio Taylor
Horatio Traylor is a rising senior at Louisiana State University from Monroe, Louisiana. He is majoring in Psychology and is currently a member of the Diversity and Employee Well-Being Lab at LSU under the direction of Dr. Rachel Williamson-Smith, researching employee well-being, diversity, personality and individual differences. He is a Discover Undergraduate Research Grant Recipient and is currently conducting an individual research project on women of an ethnic/racial minority. Horatio hopes to attain a doctoral degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology with broad interests in I/O including diversity, wellbeing, personality, assessment, motivation, morale and decision making.
Maggie Scotto Lavina
Magali Scotto is a senior at the University of Central Florida. She is majoring in Psychology with a declared track in Industrial Organizational Psychology. She is a member of Student Professionals for Industrial Organizational Psychology and the Psychological Society. Magali is currently a research assistant for the Stressful Events and Experiences (SEE) Research Group. The focus of the research group is to better understand how employees react to and process stressful events at work. Magali plans to pursue a master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology and apply her knowledge of psychological principles to solve problems in the workplace and improve employees’ quality of life.
Derek Rowe
Derek Rowe is a junior at Missouri State University where he is majoring in Psychology, and minoring in Sociology and Diversity studies. He is also pursuing a certificate in conflict and dispute resolution. Derek is currently in the I-O club and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars at his university. He is also a research assistant working with the I-O graduate department on implicit bias in the workplace. He plans to attend a graduate program for I-O Psychology after receiving his Bachelor’s. Derek hopes to have a career as an organizational consultant with a focus in creating better work environments through diversity and inclusion.
